Your First Laser Visit

We’re so happy you’ve decided to experience laser hair removal at WAXON! We want everyone to feel comfortable and feel their best when they visit us, so we’ve broken down how to prepare so you can the most from your laser treatment.

How to Prepare

Shave

Shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your appointment.

Skip Waxing/Plucking

Leave the roots! Only shaving is allowed pre-laser.

Avoid Sun

Stay out of the sun for at least 2 weeks before.

No Lotions or Deodorants

Keep skin product-free on appointment day.

Pause Acids & Retinols

Stop using AHA/retinol for 2 weeks on the area.

What To Expect During Your Laser Appointment

  1. Consent Review: Your Laserologist will check your form and health history. 
  2. Skin & Hair Assessment: We consult and recommend sessions and bar tabs (that's what we call our packages) for you.
  3. 6-Step Laser Experience: We’ll guide you through every step, using cooling technology to keep things comfortable.
  4. Fast, Comfortable Service: Expect a speedy, gentle session.

After Your Laser

  • SPF: Use a minimum of SPF 45 and avoid direct sun on treated areas.
  • No Heat: Skip workouts, saunas, or steam rooms for 24 hours.
  • Cool It: Use aloe or a cold compress if you feel heat.
  • Skip Exfoliation: Don’t exfoliate or use oils for 48 hours.
  • Wait on Acids/Injectables: Avoid acids, retinols, Botox, or fillers in the area for 2 weeks.
